With a degree in Electronic Engineering, he currently holds the position of President of Axpo Italy and Axpo Gas, as well as President of Calenia Spa, Rizziconi Spa, Energy Plus and Axpo Services Production Italy Spa, where he used to coordinate and develop all the activities of the Italian Group. He is a member of the Advisory Board of the Swiss Chamber of Commerce in Italy and is also founder and President of Skyres (Venture Capital Company) and Green Energy Storage. His professional career started off in 1983 in the STET Group and in R&D (Italtel, Italcable). In 1987 he joined Olivetti where he held various positions of responsibility until 1992. The following year he was in charge of Commercial Director of Pirelli for Italy and subsequently was appointed Commercial Director of the Worldwide OEM. In 1994 he became CEO of Tandem Computers Italy and two years later he came back in Olivetti Group and he was appointed Area Manager for Italy, North Africa and the Middle East Olivetti-Olsy, becoming part of the Board of Olivetti Research. In 1998 he became CEO of Olivetti-Wang Global and January 1999 IPM Group and member of the Board of Getronics. In 2001 he joined Telecom Italy as Head of Business Unit Satellite Group, also holding the position of CEO of Telespazio. Until 2004 he was in charge of Innovation, New Markets Business Unit within the Information Technology Group, assuming later the position of Managing Director of Finsiel Group. He is Chairman of Trans Adriatic Pipeline Italia, member of the Executive Board of Anasin, Vice ESOA, the European Satellite Operators Association, and member of the supervisor board of Eutelsat, as well as of the satellite Consortium Galileo.
With a degree cum laude in electronics at the University of Pavia, he began his career in McKinsey, mainly in the London office. After an MBA at INSEAD, from 1999 he worked in Vodafone Italy as coordinator of strategic planning and head of investor relations. From 2001 he worked for Goldman Sachs in London, focusing on the energy sector. In Enel from 2003 to 2007, he has been executive assistant to the COO Generation and Energy Management and then Head of the Italian Wholesale Electricity Market. From 2007 to 2010 he worked for CIR (the listed holding of the De Benedetti family), where he focused on the portfolio companies Sorgenia and KOS and was appointed on the Board of Directors of both companies and of Energia Italiana too. Since 2011 he is the General Manager of Key to Energy and RenEn.
After a bachelor's degree in experimental physics at the University of Trento with a thesis developed in the United States, Ilaria moved to Florida in 2010, where she continued her studies and earned her PhD in experimental physics at University of Florida (UF -Gainesville, FL) in 2016. Postdoc at the same department until August 2017, she has returned to Trento from overseas in late summer 2017 for undertake the intriguing research on redox flow batteries in GES.
In his studies during doctorate and postdoc, Ilaria has worked and gained profound experience both in experimental work on water electrolysis in acidic and neutral environment, synthesis of catalysts(mainly without noble metals) for hydrogen and oxygen evolution reactions in a wide range pH range, lithium-air batteries and supercapacitors, which in data analysis.
In 2016 Ilaria won the Tom Scott Memorial Award, a prize awarded annually by the
UF physics department at a senior graduate student who showed excellence in research
experimental. His rapporteur prof. A. Rinzler writes "Ilaria is to be commended for making very substantial inroads into lower cost catalytic electrodes for hydrogen electrolysis. Her work on the all carbon hydrogen evolving cathode also has application in reversible lithium air battery anodes. The world has yet to realize it, but through her dedication and effort, the world's outlook for renewable energy storage is decidedly better. "
Senior Researcher and Project Engineer in the field of Electrical Systems for Energy, Francesco holds the role of Product Development Manager in Green Energy Storage and he coordinates a working group of 3 people. During the PhD and the two years of Post-Doc at the University of Salerno he focused on the development of innovative techniques for the integration and optimization of resources distributed in Smart Grids and microgrids. His research career has been enriched by prolonged experiences abroad as Visiting Researcher at The University of Manchester (2013) and The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (2015-2016). In 2017 he was Professor of Power System Control at the University of Naples. In 2018 he won the Best PhD Thesis Award, awarded by the Power and Energy Society Chapter of the IEEE Italy Section for the best PhD thesis in the Power Engineering sector.
Francesco is the author of more than 18 scientific papers published in international magazines of the first category and conference proceedings. He is the auditor of several international journals including IEEE Transaction on Power System, IEEE Transaction on Smart Grids, Applied Energy - ELSEVIER, International Journal of Electrical Power and Energy Systems - ELSEVIER. He has been an auditor and has participated in numerous national and international conferences. He is a member of the IEEE Society and is active in several Working Groups and Task Force of the IEEE Power and Energy Society.
With a degree in Business Law and a thesis about Insurtech, Rodolfo is CEO of Skyres, an holding operating in fields with a high rate of innovation such as automotive, m- commerce, digital, IoT and energy storage. As Skyres CEO Rodolfo is responsible for the activities of scouting, advisoring and business development. Rodolfo is also Global Fellow of The Kairos Society, which is a worldwide based organization, with a member base consisting of some of the brightest young entrepreneurs around the world working together to use entrepreneurship and innovation in tackling some of today’s most daunting issues.
From 2013 he is Board member at AC SpA, italian leader in fleet management and one of the main players in IoT applied to the insurance market.
Rodolfo is Partner of Quo-d, a business design firm, where he manages projects related to Crowdfunding and startups. He is advisor of SoundsOfThings Ltd and Chairman of QFactory, an organization that provides training courses in schools in order to spread entrepreneurial skills.
From 2017 he is Project Manager of Bergamo Smart City & Community.

With a Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mario Mascolo is a seasoned Senior Executive with more than 38 years of success across the industrial, manufacturing, consumer healthcare, and oil & gas industries. Throughout his executive career, Mr. Mascolo has held senior leadership positions at companies including most recently 3M, and at the beginnings Exxon Mobil Italy. In 2017 he has launched his own advisory and investment company, EMME Capital, where he serves as President, and acts on several advisory mandates as well as private equity investor for various companies. Currently, he also holds senior advisor positions at leading international advisory firms such as Principal Expert at The European House Ambrosetti, Senior Advisor with NPV Europe Ltd., and Senior Advisor to FB Associati. This follows a three-decade executive career with 3M, where he rose from Marketing Manager for 3M Italy to President and Managing Director for 3M Greece in 2000 to VP of 3M EMEA Health Care Business in 2005, President and Managing Director of 3M Italy in 2007, to President of 3M EMEA in 2012 , before retiring as VP of Business Transformation for 3M EMEA in 2017. In addition, he served on several institutional committees and member of business and socio-economic associations, including Vice President of the American Chamber of Commerce in Italy, Italy Aspen Institute, Foreign Investors Committee of Confindustria and Assolombarda.
