Green Energy Storage announces its second equity crowdfunding campaign on Mamacrowd

Following the success of its first fundraising round in 2017 and the progress achieved throughout 2018, Green Energy Storage is preparing to launch its second equity crowdfunding campaign on the Mamacrowd platform.

The new campaign represents another step in GES's growth journey and has two main objectives: continuing to invest in Research & Development for energy storage systems and supporting the production and commercialisation of the first battery series for the market.

Following the success of the first crowdfunding campaign

In 2017, Green Energy Storage had already chosen equity crowdfunding to support its development, attracting strong interest from the very beginning: €120,000 had been raised within the first 30 minutes, approximately half of the initial target.

The success of the first campaign, together with the progress achieved during 2018 and the numerous requests received from potential new investors, encouraged GES to choose crowdfunding once again and open its capital to a wider community.

Supporting research, development and market entry

The second campaign is part of a broader fundraising strategy designed to support Green Energy Storage's growth.

The capital raised will contribute to further investments in Research & Development, improving battery storage capacity, power and performance, while supporting the company's transition towards the production and commercialisation of its first battery series.

As Salvatore Pinto, President of Green Energy Storage, explained, crowdfunding is one of the tools within the company's broader fundraising strategy:

“Alongside continuous research and development, Green Energy Storage is now ready to enter the market. Crowdfunding will enable both large and small investors to take part in the company's growth.”

A new phase for Green Energy Storage

The new fundraising round comes at an important stage in the company's development.

Over the past year, Green Energy Storage has completed two capital increases that brought new shareholders and expertise into the company, including Mario Mascolo, Maria Elena Cappello and Hofima S.p.A.

At the same time, the team has continued working on the technological development of its batteries and energy storage systems, with the goal of progressively transforming research results into solutions for the market.

“Nuova linfa per la nostra energia”: the campaign video

The second crowdfunding campaign is accompanied by the video teaser “Nuova linfa per la nostra energia”, presenting the new phase of Green Energy Storage through images of its technology, research activities and energy storage systems.

Green Energy Storage's second campaign on Mamacrowd

The campaign will open on Mamacrowd in the coming weeks, offering new investors the opportunity to take part in the Green Energy Storage project and support the company's next phase of technological and industrial growth.

For GES, crowdfunding is not only a fundraising tool, but also an opportunity to share its vision with a wider community: developing energy storage technologies capable of supporting the transition towards a more sustainable energy system.
